Esports event organiser BLAST has introduced plans for the 2021 BLAST Premier Championship, a Counter Strike: International Offensive (CS:GO) occasion, together with a complete prize pool of $2,475,000 (£1,832,936).

The BLAST Premier Championship 2021, happening from February to December, will start with the worldwide ‘BLAST Premier Qualifying Sequence’ which, in keeping with a launch, will supply “alternatives to all areas” to qualify for the superior levels.

From there, profitable groups will compete within the BLAST Premier Spring and Fall Showdowns. If profitable, groups will advance to the Spring and Fall Finals. The penultimate BLAST occasion would be the World Ultimate — just like the present 2020 occasion.

BLAST Premier Member Groups will robotically earn a spot within the Fall and Spring Teams. Winners of the BLAST Premier Spring and Fall Finals, Flashpoint three and 4, ESL Professional League 13 and 14, and Valve Fall Main will qualify for the World Ultimate.

Non-member groups that compete in BLAST Premier occasions may also obtain a participation price — a brand new addition to the BLAST Premier season in 2021.

The present 11 BLAST Premier Member Groups embrace: Astralis; Ninjas in Pyjamas; G2 Esports; OG Esports; Group Vitality; Natus Vincere; FaZe Clan; Complexity Gaming; MiBR; Evil Geniuses; and Group Liquid.

BLAST Premier Spring Teams – $150,000 (4th-14th February)

BLAST Premier Spring Showdown – $162,500 (13th-18th April)

BLAST Premier Spring Ultimate – $425,000 (15th-20th June)

BLAST Premier Fall Teams – $150,000 (26th August – fifth September)

BLAST Premier Fall Showdown – $162,500  (12th-17th October)

BLAST Premier Fall Ultimate – $425,000  (23rd-28th November)

BLAST Premier World Ultimate – $1,000,000 (14th-19th December)

Robbie Douek, CEO of BLAST, commented on the upcoming season: “BLAST Premier will likely be again for 2021 with followers set to take pleasure in extra top-tier CS:GO than ever earlier than.
